I describe my writing genre as Uncanny Fiction but it also falls under the more popular descriptions of Gothic Fiction, Weird Fiction, or Dark Fantasy.  Technically, on a mainstream scale I write Horror, however,  I'm not a fan of Horror in the modern term and I don't like to apply that description to my work. It's often too bloody for my tastes. My inspirations are Edgar Allen Poe, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, Tim Burton, and Neil Gaiman. I write under initials because I'm also an artist.
