Neon is deeply inspired by my own culture, experiences, and imagination, blending music, emotion, fantasy, and subtle influences from African lore into a neon-lit world of its own.  

Through Neon, I wanted to create something magical that feels both familiar and empowering for readers who don't always get to see themselves at the center of stories like this.

Neon was created for everyone who grew up loving every genre of music - from pop rock and emotional ballads to Caribbean music that filled their homes and hearts.  
 
For the dreamers, the artists, the lovers, anyone who felt everything deeply and escaped into music when the world felt too heavy.  

Neon and the Midnight City is my way of blending those memories, emotions, and influences with Caribbean culture, Black representation, fantasy, and music into a world that feels magical, emotional, nostalgic, and alive.
