          Bad news and good news. Good news is that I managed to reach the 8k word count for Kill The Reaper with Chapter 3! In this chapter, we meet Rune, a half-feral wolf shifter with a penchant for running off on his own...and perhaps for eating people, too? Chapter 3 is live, so if you're interested, do check it out!

          And the bad news...I'm not gonna make it for Dreamwalker, y'alls. It's not that I can't grind 6k words in a day (after all, I've done 10k in two before), but I just. They won't be good words. And I want anything I put out to meet a certain standard, which what I have written of the 6k needed does not meet right now. So I've made the difficult decision of pulling Dreamwalker out of the ONC, as it just isn't up to snuff. It breaks my heart to do this, but again, if I can't put out something good, I would rather not put out anything at all.
          
          What will happen to Dreamwalker now? I have no clue. I'll admit that I didn't really have much passion for this project from the start as it was a very last-minute idea, unlike KTR. But I do love Nathan and Mar enough to give their book another chance in the future. I am planning to focus on KTR for April, and finish Pretty Dead Things in time for the Wattys, but I do hope that I'll eventually have time to continue Dreamwalker. We'll see, I guess.
          
          Lesson to be learned: don't start projects you're like. Vaguely ambivalent about. Especially don't start projects where making the graphics excites you more than actually writing. Let's just hope KTR doesn't meet the same fate TvT

WE'RE COOKED!!! because i have somehow not dropped out of the ONC yet and am still desperately trying to speedrun my way to 8k for both my entries. which is almost 12k words. in 2 days. after a month of getting fucked in the arsehole by uni and also zb1 losing 4 members. (i am in MOURNING). anyway. the grind never stops because it is March 30 and i have just posted chapter 2 of Kill The Reaper. i love suicide missions. anyway in this one, we hear from Essie and her um, vaguely homoerotic roommate? things also pick up a little in this chapter, but i won't spoil the end for you, so do check it out if you're still interested in KTR despite me disappearing for a solid month!

          so. hi. i am um. 2 months behind on my reading. so hopefully after i speedrun my writing (3k down...8k to go...i still have like...36 hours...) i will be able to speedrun my reading too if life doesn't kick my arse too hard? fuck. but yeah i hope everyone's ONC entries are going better than mine is and Good Luck to anyone speedrunning their entry rn because we are gonna need it omg TvT

Goooood morning, everyone! Been MIA for a while, I know. A new project popped up at work and it had a pretty big bonus attached, so obviously I took it. We love overtime in this house, baybee! And I've got an exam next week, so I'm grinding. Which is why I've been majorly inactive. But I do hope to catch up on my ONC reading after I finish my exam, especially since I'm done with my work project now!           Anyway, I've updated Chapter 2 of Dreamwalker, just in time for Round 1 submission! After this, I'll be filling in my ONC forms for both Kill The Reaper and Dreamwalker, and fingers crossed I make it through. Hey guys! Sorry I dipped for a week, had to grind like mad for my exams and also prep for Chinese New Year (happy CNY to all those celebrating, btw!)           Updates on Dreamwalker and KTR have been slow because again, exams. I'll probably focus on hitting the 2k milestone for Dreamwalker and then update faster when Round 2 rolls around! Hopefully. So, plans for this week: update Chapter 2 of Dreamwalker. And Chapter 3 too if I need it to hit 2k. Then I'll post Chapter 2 of KTR, which is almost half-finished...can you tell who my favourite child is? :,)

Guuuuess what? My 2nd ONC entry is finally here! And...chapterless. Because I've been hounding my supervisor all day and therefore did not have time to finish Chapter 1. HOWEVER!!! After I finish hounding my supervisor tomorrow ONCE AGAIN (never go to uni guys), I will be hopefully finishing up Chapter 1 of Dreamwalker and posting it!!!

Hey guys! Sorry I dipped for a couple days. Been real busy with uni logistics and paperwork, especially since there's a chance I may have to drop out of my course due to financial issues. But we roll. Kill The Reaper is vibing, on track and everything, and I hope to post 2 chapters this week. Chapter 2 is already halfway done, and it's from Essie's POV this time! Thank you so much for your support on KTR so far! I know it's a little slow right now, but it'll pick up soon ;)
          
          Dreamwalker, my 2nd ONC entry, was shoved to the side for a little bit, but I will be publishing the introduction page and the first chapter tomorrow! Guess who just finally posted the first chapter of ONC Entry Numero Uno? That's right, this guy! It was supposed to be up yesterday, but this is Draft 3 of Chapter 1, so as you can tell, quite a lot of rewriting and going insane was done. But I'm so excited to present to you the first chapter of Kill The Reaper! In this chapter, we meet William Aki, second year psychology major and long-suffering TA, as well as some of his rather...vivacious students. While Chapter 1 is definitely more of an introduction to the magic systems and Crenshaw as a whole, I can assure you that it will definitely pick up soon, so I hope you stick around!
