I am an award winning, published author of novels, short stories, flash fiction, and poetry. I work in all genres, but tend to gravitate toward the fantastical. I like to push the boundaries of story and craft in all of my work. I write every day and am currently finishing my Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing. I serve as the Pacific Northwest Writers' Association's Student Liaison, helping to bring more young people into the organization by developing new programs and benefits specifically for students. I often teach classes and speak at writers' conferences, writers' groups, and book clubs all over the country. 

To pay the bills, I make pastries, breads, and other delicious baked-goods at a popular local coffee shop. I ride horses, I love coffee, and I read anything with good characters, an interesting story, or strong writing.
