I grew up in Dooms, VA, and currently lives in Blacksburg, VA, with her husband and family. I've published poems, short stories, and flash fiction, including "Teddy Bear Heads," "That House at the End of Carver Street," and "A Song for Miss Cline". Yep, you write one little poem called "Teddy Bear Heads" and people start to judge. I tried self-publishing but found that I couldn't reach a lot of people. I'm hoping just to get my work out there and to share ideas with other writers.
