For those who have read the prior version of Ash Iron and Blood, what do you think of the new revised chapter?
          	Is the shift to 1st POV (me, myself, I) an improvement or would you rather it had stayed as 2nd POV (you, yourself)?

Dear readers,
          
          As of August 2025 I've decided to begin a revision and re-writing of Blood Scale.
          
          As I was re-reading the story, I came to realize it's still severely lacking and is missing a lot of depth in general. Y/n is also 0-5% relatable, which is the main issue at hand. 
          
          Several parts of the story, which were written fairly recently (end of 2024 - beginning of 2025) honestly made me want to slap myself because of how poorly and hushed it was written. 
          
          I really thought to myself "wow, a 12 year old (no hate) probably planned this storyline, what is this??" and decided that, as childish and petty as it is, I'd rather just tweak the story for new/future readers, as it's current state is mostly deplorable.
          
          Anyways, thanks for all the encouragement, hopefully I'll get the revision done soon in order to continue uploading actual chapters.

Sorry for the long long long while with lack of updates (or signs of life)
            
            I stopped writing because I felt I wasn't doi g it for the right reasons (AKA running from my responsibilities and problems)
            
            I felt bad about leaving readers with no prior warning but I needed to set my priorities straight before getting back to writing. 
            
            It'll still take me a while to post, ad I'll be rereading the whole story before getting back into it. I don't want to do a poor job, like making the plot line hollow or straight up changing my writing style. 
            
            Either way, I apologize and thank you.

@iamthe4thwall Hellooooo! I'm so deeply sorry about the lack of updates, lots of stuff have been going on ;w;)/
            I've been having writer's block for over two months and started drowning in school work over the past few weeks. I'll try to finish up at least one chapter this weekend because it's been WAY too long since I've actually written anything. 
            Though I do have some good news: While I wasn't writing I organized the plotline and took care of my mental sanity, thank the Lord for that. Additionally, I've been trying to get inspiration (and quite desperately so) by reading. I think I've read over 8 and a half books since April in my spare time lol.
            Anyways sorry for the late reply, and thank you so so much for sending a message. Thanks to you I'm super pumped up to get back to writing ^-^

          The original didn't really fit with the overall theme, and I did a few modifications to the main plot so don't be alarmed haha
