The moment I was brought into this world, I had my hands on a book. throughout my years in my elementary school, I would participate in Battle Of The Books. my reading and English level was the highest of my academic skills; it still is to this day.
When it comes to writing, I want to be able to create stories that truly, completely grip the attention of the reader. I want to help keep Reading alive. as time progresses and technology advances more and more, I feel that we, as a society, are taking a massive and sad, unfortunate step away from Reading, Literature, Art and Creativity. I feel that we, as a society, are stepping towards a world of phones and technology that grip our attention, no interaction in our day to day lives, and just becoming this Gray dystopian world where we have our noses glued to our screens, to social media. wondering what next to post, to share, trying to outdo one another with stories that honestly, dont last long on a screen.
As an author, I want to be able to keep these wonderful things that we've created alive. I want art to remain forever, I want our future generation to explore creativity, wonder and imagination. not the tech features of a phone, a computer, or a headset that keeps you entrance and trapped within a virtual world for hours and hours on end.
I want to create works of fiction and fantasy that truly aspire to capture the young, or old, mind. I want others to be captivated not only by my work, but by the works of many other talented and literature gifted storytellers throughout this vast and giant planet we call our home, Earth.
I just truly wish to help keep the wonderful realm of reading and literature alive. and I hope, in my ever growing literature and novel-esque journey, I can continue to grow my literacy skills and create stories that truly help to keep imagination alive.
