also I really hope they officially release Detachment for the 20th anniversary of B2B. Island Records said they destroyed all Amy's old demos, but I don't buy that for a second, they literally finished + released some of her original songs after she passed. and the freaking gall of the label to act like they're so adverse to profitting off Amy's legacy when they literally enabled her alcoholism for money; that stupid comeback tour in Belgrade was such an obviously terrible idea.
don't even get me started on the people who are like "Amy should've cancelled the show and given refunds" and defend the booing. Amy didn't wanna be there. she was carried onto a plane while incapacitated and given alcohol that was contraindicated with her withdrawal medication, wtf did people expect? the show wasn't up to her by that point. blame the stupid label for the shitshow that was Belgrade and pushing Amy to perform when she needed to recover.
anyways, in anticipation of B2B's anniversary, they put out a throwback site called "Amy Space". it looks so cool, but I can't find it anywhere lol. there's a really cute tank top that references F Me Pumps (makes me happy cuz Frank always gets overlooked in favour of B2B), which is 35 bucks. and like. I never pay more than 10 bucks for a shirt, however I miiiight make an exception since I couldn't find it on Ebay. there were some Amy shirts I found on the Hot Topic website, though they never had them in-store : ( I always check the band tee aisle just in case.
