To those that may not know, I did get my diagnosis from the rheumatologist today.

Sjogren's Syndrome (w/ keratoconjunctivitis sicca [aka Dry Eye Disease]) and Fibromyalgia.

I'm definitely grateful that I have answers, but I also have very mixed emotions at the moment. I guess I'm relieved but dejected. While I understand these diseases don't inherently carry a death sentence, it has severely impacted my way of life, and I don't want to pretend that it hasn't.

I wish I could feel better about this, but I don't and I can't guarantee I will feel better for a while. Other things have happened over the course of this summer that have caused me a lot of emotional strain and as a result I feel very disconnected from myself and my emotions. Probably a coping mechanism, I'd assume.

Forgive me for the pause on uploading chapters as this has been a lot for me to take in. I'm not even 22 yet. But I'll manage.

Update to this: We also went to get my dog checked out just earlier (she is 13 and has been with us since 2017). There's a good chance we may have to put her down if her bloodwork comes back and it shows up as positive for diabetes.

So... yeah. I am not okay. I'm sorry if this worries people or if this comes off as me being so blunt about something serious. A part of me is so hurt by loss at this point that I just can't think of anything else to say or do. This summer has been hell on earth for me. And I know I'm not the only one suffering.

          	  Bye for now.

Alright. Health update #2.

This is not an update I want to have, but I want to remain as transparent as possible.

I've been going to appointments and getting things checked/ruled out. Recently, I've found out from my grandmother that Rheumatoid Arthritis does run in our family. New symptoms have been popping up, and preexisting ones have been worsening. So far, I have no definitive answer, but a lot of things are pointing towards a potential autoimmune disorder, pain disorder, or maybe even both.

I will make sure you guys are all updated on what's going on as I believe you all deserve some clarity on the situation. If this is early onset (which is starting to seem likely) then a lot may change. Again, it's merely a possibility right now, but I'm letting you all know prior to the official diagnosis. I'll try to see a specialist to confirm or rule out other issues and go from there.

Right now, I'm just trying to make things livable. Being in this state is something I don't wish on anyone as it makes it difficult for me to work and find the energy to write. But I'm hanging in there. I want to do everything I can to stay as healthy as my body permits and provide you all with content.

With that being said, look forward to some She-Ra AU updates! Also, to direct us in a more positive direction... production of my memoir "Riding The Margin" has started! I'm not sure when it'll be published as the manuscript is only at the first 20 or so pages and will need HEAVY editing and polishing once finished.

I know nothing's going to be perfect, but, when is it ever? Take care of yourselves and I'll update you all soon!

Hey to all. Health update.

So, the last 8-9 months, I've been dealing with fluctuating, chronic pains throughout my body. So far, it's been resonating in my ribs, my knees and below, back, and shoulders. To sort of help visualize this, imagine somebody taking an ice pick, and on a given day, decide how hard or how little they're going to stab you with it. That's really the best description I can give.

Ironically, I've been needing to use a cane to help me walk around. I don't always need it, but there are occasions where I have to use it in order to balance and take weight off the pained leg on that day.

I'm hoping to get an answer eventually, but I want you all to know what's going on. That hasn't stopped my writing in the slightest, and I'm thankful that I'm still able to continue doing this in spite of this issue. Obviously, the worst case (that I've been fearing as I've been keeping track and have gone to doctors) would be fibromyalgia. If it is, then that's okay. I'll accept that. If it's something else, then I'll tend to that as needed.

I apologize profusely for this. I know it isn't an update you'd like to hear, but I wanted to be transparent on the off case I struggled to update or seemed to be focusing more on a given story than not.

          Take care of yourselves.

          ~ Rue

@NyxDorian Hi, about your fanfic Twin Wings, Will you publish a chapter of the fan art for the fanfic? I ask because your story keeps getting longer and I really like the drawings in it.

@NyxDorian Hey mate, good to hear from you. Take all the time you need, pain isn't something that we should fault you for, nor should you.

Okay, but WHY... is this scenario stuck in my head.

This is how I see it, right?
Laios - Just skating on the ice normally, maybe even trying to look for fish.
          Senshi - Building a snowman.
Chilchuck - Just vibing with Senshi at this point.
Falin - Ice skating w/ Marcille and admiring the scenery.
Izutsumi - Debating throwing a few snowballs.

          Meanwhile...
Ruval - Penguin sliding across the ice.
