Odric Shadowrend is a name that sounds forged from the pages of an ancient saga-and in many ways, it is. At 37 years old, with sharp hazel-green eyes, dark brown hair, and a short, rugged beard, Odric carries the quiet strength of a man shaped by battle, wilderness, and wandering.

Before he ever became a writer, Odric lived an entirely different life as a Knight-Paladin, sworn to defend the innocent. But the Order's rigid doctrines and the brutal cost of its campaigns left him questioning the path he'd been forced to follow. After a devastating winter battle, he made the choice few dared to make:
He walked away.

The wilds claimed him next. Odric spent years roaming forests and forgotten roads, becoming a ranger whose instincts were as sharp as his arrows. Legends soon spread of a hooded guardian who appeared when danger loomed.

But when darkness crept further into the world, Odric took up a new mantle-bounty hunter. Guided not by coin but by justice, he hunted monsters, criminals, and corrupted souls. The world whispered a new name: Shadowrend, the hunter who strikes from darkness.

Beneath all of this lived a writer's heart. Odric had always carried journals filled with visions of cursed kingdoms, haunted heroes, and celestial wars. After a near-fatal hunt, he chose to share those worlds with readers.

Today, Odric Shadowrend writes dark epic fantasy shaped by the life he survived-stories where hope glows brightest against the shadows.

"Your scars," he says, "prove your story isn't finished."
