OdricShadowrend

To everyone who has stepped into Still Us and chosen to stay,

Odric Shadowrend here—with a full heart and a quiet moment of gratitude.

First and foremost, thank you. Truly.

The amount of love and support you’ve shown for Still Us has honestly taken me by surprise. I knew this story was something different for me, something more grounded and personal—but I didn’t expect it to be received with this much warmth, this quickly. I’m genuinely blown away, and I don’t take a single read, vote, or comment for granted.

If you may have missed it, Chapter 7: Sixth Grade — Microsoft was published yesterday, Tuesday, March 17th.

And I’m happy to share that Chapter 8 has already been completed and is scheduled to be published this coming Friday, March 20th, at 10:00 AM.

Without giving too much away, this next chapter leans into something I’ve been quietly building—those shared moments between friends that start to feel like something more, even if no one quite knows how to name it yet. The kind of chapter where the atmosphere matters just as much as the words spoken.

Once again, thank you—for your support, your kindness, and for walking this story with me as it continues to unfold.

It means more than you know.

To those who have walked this long road with me,

Odric Shadowrend here, with a milestone I’ve been looking forward to sharing.

I’m honored—and honestly a little emotional—to say that the final chapter and the epilogue of The Last Riftborne — Book I: The Child of The Solarium have now been published.

          Book I is officially complete.

From the first storm-touched night to the final steps of this opening arc, you’ve walked beside Divuad through every quiet moment, every awakening truth, and every trial that shaped the beginning of his story. I want to sincerely thank each of you who stayed on this journey with me. Your support, your patience, and your willingness to step into this world meant more than I can properly express.

For now, I’ll be taking a short break from The Last Riftborne. Not because the story is finished—far from it—but because the next part of Divuad’s journey deserves the time and care it takes to build properly.

During this time, I’ll be focusing a bit more on Still Us, while also giving myself the space to map out what comes next in the saga carefully.

That next step will be The Last Riftborne — Book II: In The Shadow of The Adept, where Divuad’s story continues… under heavier skies, with deeper trials waiting beyond the Solarium.

But for now, allow me to say this one more time:

          Thank you for being here.
Thank you for walking the first road with me.

          The story isn’t over.

          It’s only just beginning.

To everyone who has stepped onto this road with Still Us,

Odric Shadowrend here, writing with a full and grateful heart.

I want to sincerely thank each of you for the interest you’ve shown and the support you’ve given to Still Us, my very first romantic drama. Seeing readers connect with Samuel and Sarah’s story—chapter by chapter, moment by moment—has meant more to me than I can properly put into words. Truly, thank you for being here and for giving this story your time.

I’m also excited to share a small piece of news.

Still Us — Chapter 6: The First Jacket is set to be published this coming Friday at 10:00 AM.

Without giving anything away, I’ll just say that this chapter carries one of those quiet moments that doesn’t seem very big on the surface… but means far more than either of them realizes at the time. The kind of moment that, years later, people remember with a smile.

And I promise you this: Still Us is a slow-burn story by design. The best moments are still ahead—the beautiful ones that make your heart feel warm… and the harder ones that test it. Both are part of the journey.

Thank you again for reading, for commenting, and for walking this story with me.

To those walking this quieter road with me,

Odric Shadowrend here with a small reminder before the morning bell rings.

Still Us — Chapter 2: Playground Gravity is set to be published today, Saturday, March 7th, at 10:00 AM.

This next chapter continues the early steps of Samuel and Sarah’s story—those small childhood moments where something simple, like laughter across a playground, can quietly rearrange the world without either of them realizing it yet.

If you decide to read it today, I truly hope you enjoy the next step of their journey.

As always, thank you for being here and for walking these pages with me.

To those who have walked many roads with me,

Odric Shadowrend here—with news of a new path beginning.

I’m genuinely excited to share that I’ve officially begun publishing a new story, a romantic drama titled Still Us. It’s a very different kind of journey from The Last Riftborne—no ancient bastions, no starwells stirring in the dark—but a story just as close to the heart. This one explores love, memory, and the quiet moments that shape two lives over time.

Today, at 10:00 AM, Still Us — Chapter 1: The Broken Crayon was published.

The journey has only just begun, and I’m grateful to invite you along for it.

Looking ahead, Chapter 2 — Playground Gravity is scheduled to be published on Tuesday, March 10th, at 10:00 AM.

If you choose to step into this story, I hope you find something meaningful waiting there—something tender, honest, and worth feeling.

As always, thank you for reading and for continuing to walk these many roads with me.

To those who have waited patiently along this road,

Odric Shadowrend here—returning to the fire after a longer silence than I ever intended.

First, I owe you an apology. I know it has been some time since I last spoke or placed new pages before you. Life, as it sometimes does, became… hectic. Demanding. The kind of stretch of days where the hours disappear faster than the will to write can keep pace. For that silence, I am sincerely sorry.

But the road of The Last Riftborne has not been abandoned.

I will be returning to the page to finish the remaining chapters of Book I — The Child of The Solarium and bring this first arc of Divuad’s journey to the ending it deserves. The final pieces of the path are already waiting; they simply need to be walked with the care they were always meant to have.

Once Book I reaches its close, however, I will be stepping away from the Riftborne realm for a little while.

Not forever—just long enough to breathe, reset, and explore a different kind of story.

During that time I’ll be working on something new: a romantic drama titled ā€œStill Us.ā€ It will be a very different journey from the one we’ve been traveling here—less steel and prophecy, more heart, memory, and the quiet trials that love asks of us.

Stories take many shapes. Some are battles fought beneath ancient stars. Others are fought in the fragile spaces between two people who care for each other more than they know how to say.

For now, though, our road through the Solarium is not finished.

          Thank you for your patience.
          Thank you for staying.

To those still gathered by the fire,

Odric Shadowrend here, with a quiet but welcome update.

The Last Riftborne — Book I: The Child of The Solarium, Chapter XVIII — The Starwell Stirs has been finalized and will be published later today, on the second day of the week—Tuesday—at the 10th Morning Bell.

To everyone who has remained on this journey with me—thank you. Truly. Your patience and presence have carried more weight than you know.

With this chapter, there are now only two chapters left before Book I reaches its climactic close. The ground is shifting, the quiet truths are waking, and what has long been stirring beneath the surface can no longer remain contained.

          And beyond that end…

Book II waits in the deep places—where the light Divuad carries will be tested not by awakening, but by consequence.

The road narrows. The fire still burns.

To those who have been waiting by the fire,

Odric Shadowrend here—setting the quill down not in triumph, but in honesty.

          I owe you an apology.

Chapters XVIII and XIX were meant to arrive sooner, and they did not. An unexpected death in my family pulled me away without warning, and in the days that followed, I stepped back from the page to grieve, to tend to those I love, and to find my footing again in the quiet aftermath. Some roads do not announce themselves before they turn steep, and this was one of them.

I also want to say this plainly: I’m sorry if my sudden silence caused worry. That was never my intention. I simply needed a little time—to mourn, to heal, and to be present with family during a difficult stretch of days.

I’m slowly finding my way back now.

I’ll be doing my best to get Chapters XVIII and XIX finished and published as soon as I can, with the care and respect the story—and you—deserve. I won’t rush them simply to fill the silence, but I promise I haven’t abandoned this journey.

          Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for your kindness, spoken and unspoken.
And thank you for walking this road with understanding when the light grew dim for a time.

The fire has not gone out.
          I’ll return to it soon.

OdricShadowrend

To those still walking this long and narrowing road with me,

Odric Shadowrend here—ink smudged, candles low, but a new chapter finally laid to rest.

I’m glad to share that The Last Riftborne — Book I: The Child of The Solarium — Chapter XVII: Whispers of Destiny has been finalized and is set to be published on the fifth day of the week—Friday—at the 10th Morning Bell.

To every single one of you who remains on this journey through Book I: thank you. Your patience, your quiet loyalty, and your willingness to stay with Divuad through both his wounds and his awakening mean more than I can properly put into words.

With this chapter completed, there are now only three chapters left before Book I reaches its climactic close. We are firmly in the part of the story where every choice echoes, every scar matters, and the boy who first stepped into the Radiant Fields is no longer the same.

          And beyond that ending…

Book II waits like a storm past the horizon.

The world will grow wider. The shadows will stretch longer.
The Found Family hinted at here will begin to truly take shape—
not in safety, but under pressure: distance, danger, and the kind of trials that leave permanent marks on both body and soul.

For now, rest where you can.
Friday’s bell is coming, and with it, another step toward the edge.

To those who still walk this narrowing road with me,

Odric Shadowrend here—quill set down only after the last line finally agreed to stay where it belonged.

I want to let you know that The Last Riftborne — Book I: The Child of The Solarium, Chapter XVI — The Price of Courage has been finalized and is set to be published on the second day of the week—Tuesday—at the 10th Morning Bell.

As always, and with full sincerity, thank you to every one of you who remains on this journey of Book I with me. Whether you read quietly, comment often, or simply keep returning—your presence has mattered more than you likely realize.

I do want to offer a small but honest correction. In my previous update, I mistakenly said there were four chapters remaining when there were, in truth, five at that time. That one is on me, and I apologize for the slip. With Chapter XVI now complete, there are four chapters remaining before Book I comes to its climactic close. The path ahead is shorter—but heavier with every step.

          And beyond that ending…

          Book II waits.

Not as a continuation of innocence, but as a reckoning with what has already been set in motion. The trials grow sharper. The bonds are tested in ways no training hall can prepare for. And the light Divuad carries will no longer be allowed to shine unnoticed.

For now, take a breath. Tuesday approaches.
