I just discovered "Safe" and I love your writing! Needless to say, I was disappointed that it ended where it did, but after reading your note about how it reminds you of your past relationship, I understand how you can lose your inspiration. I love your characters and the storyline, so I hope after you've had some time away from the story, you'll be inspired to resurrect the story because it's something you want to finish. As well, please don't get hung-up on the "Fifty Shades" references as you'll find your own way to write the scenes that suit your style of writing.

          I've read a LOT of Wattpad stories and you have something solid with this story and where it's going. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Darcey and Cormac will eventually have their first date!

Here's my confession;
          I haven't written a word of Safe since my last update (over a month ago).
          And here's the reason I started writing it;
          I read Fifty Shades of Grey. Don't get me wrong, the sex scenes were... very nicely done. However I kept whining to my boyfriend that it had none of the psychological aspects of BDSM involved, especially D/s relationship wise. And I also hated the fact that the female protagonist had to 'change' the male lead because there was something 'wrong' with him.. And so he did change. It was soft and basically an adult version of the meek girl getting the over-the-top bad boy...
          And so my now ex-boyfriend challenged me to write a story on BDSM with a focus on the growth of a sub. And then Safe began. He was my first reviewer for every chapter and my encourager.
          I'm not about to say that I can't write any more because he broke my heart and Safe is a constant reminder of what we'll never have again WAH...
          But I've currently lost my inspiration...

          Still, I feel awful for leaving you guys hanging (and for this long message).
          So I'm considering re-uploading a story that I was considering getting published (which is now a no-go). It's very different from Safe but it's my favourite genre (action) so I might write it more frequently.
          Whaddya think?

@candygurl123 Hey, I'm just happy that you're reading. If you don't want to vote or comment, I have no beef with you ;) I won't give up on Safe, I'm just going slow on writing it at the moment.
