I'm a young, hopeful writer with little experience and ambition far larger than my talent. However, I don't let that discourage me from writing but instead use it for inspiration. For what grows talent and creates experience other than practice?
I do not expect my writing to be perfect, or amazing, but I do hope that it is entertaining and riveting. I hope that I can engage you and keep you interested, while keeping the plot fresh as my characters come to life on paper or screen.
Once more, I have little experience and just as much talent. So I do ask that you bear with me, I don't believe you shall regret it.
A few of my favorite quotes:
There’s nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and open a vein. ~Walter Wellesley “Red” Smith
You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you. ~Ray Bradbury
I try to leave out the parts that people skip. ~Elmore Leonard
Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass. ~Anton Chekhov
The coroner will find ink in my veins and blood on my typewriter keys. ~C. Astrid Weber
It is impossible to discourage the real writers – they don’t give a damn what you say, they’re going to write. ~Sinclair Lewis
The good writers touch life often. The mediocre ones run a quick hand over her. The bad ones rape her and leave her for the flies. ~Ray Bradbury
