          Persephone walked through the halls of Olympus looking strange. A large sweatshirt and shorts replaced her gown and tiara. He usual aura wavered and looked worn out. Persephone didn't sleep seeing as her stomach was noticeable,  it completely terrified her unlike when she had her other children. She wiped her teary eyes and continued her trip through Olympus.

Persephone walked through the streets of La Jolla humming a merry tune. Instead of her usual lavish dress she wore a red crop top with shorts and white nikes. She looked at the sun in wonder and awe, it had been forever since she had seen the sun.  Persephone tucked a strand of loose hair back in her messy bun and started to walk to the beach.

Persephone practically ran through the palace with a large smile. A suitcase trailed behind her and pink slip dress creased and uncreased as she ran. She pushed strands of her curly hair out of her face as she ran knowing what day it was. 
          
          Pausing outside the palace gates she stared at her home with an odd expression, the next time she would come back surely Hades would figure her out. It sent shivers down her spine ao she shook her head and teleported away.  She surfaced at Olympus, her happy smile returned. Humming a tune she started her walk towards her mother.

          Persephone walked through the halls of the palace, her silk nightgown swishing against her legs. Her feet stung from the cold tile but she was used to it and her curls bounced as she walked. Unlike her from her bedroom she could hear the tormented screams of the dead. 
          
          She remembered a time when she was afraid of ever leaving her bedroom as to know where she barely noticed the sounds, it was strange how much she'd changed from the angry wide-eyed girl she had been to the calm and confident queen who roamed her castle. 
          
          In the morning she would leave for Earth and finally rest peacefully. She of course knew that Hades could leave the Underworld but he respected her time away from the Underworld. The subject of her husband had brought tears to her eyes, she looked down at her still flat stomach thinking of the child that was forming in there. Shame colored her cheeks and her eyes stung with pain, she was embarrassed of what she'd done. She loved Hades she was sure but what she was not sure of is how she could feel such incredible lust towards others, it was unnatural and quite honestly terrifying. 
          
          Pausing at a mirror hung on the wall she surveyed her reflection. Despite truly caring about her appearance she hated to look at her reflection because all she saw was the empty shell of what she used to be. The memories of her life before here were too painful. Sighing, Persephone stepped away from the mirror and continued her stroll as a wilting daffodil in the castle of darkness and monstrosity.

Persephone sat in the throne room chewing on her fingernails. Ever since she found out she was pregnant she had been counting down the days until she could leave the Underworld. She, of course, wasn't showing but if anyone knew her the best it was Hades.
