Baker by day, writer by night, and complete nerd around the clock.
I was born in Newfoundland in 1990 and have lived here for the majority of my life. I grew up in a quiet little town surrounded by nature and the ocean, which sees an influx of tourists during the summer.
My love of superheroes began in the early 90s when I was first exposed to the X-men cartoon that was running at the time. I fell in love with the idea that ordinary people could house a powerful ability that they could use for good (or evil). I grew up hoping to develop similar powers (particularly the ability to create storms, so that school was canceled), but I've sadly yet to develop a power.
While I was waiting for my (nonexisting) powers to surface, I began to write angsty poems, terribly designed scripts, and short stories that recycled names like no one's business. By my preteens, I was writing stories with other people, and in my early twenties, I took a few stabs at writing a novel on my own. It was only recently that I really committed myself to this endeavor, but I haven't looked back since.
When I'm not writing I enjoy playing video games, rewatching the cartoons that inspired me, reading, and baking.
