whee! my first reads, and those star thingy's. No idea what they mean, but thank you for reading, mysterious readers :)

@PiperMcDermot These star thingies are dreadfully important - but only in the WP universe.
People read your book. This is good. If they like what they read they push the little star button. It's an 'I like it' expression. A lot of people leave it at that. For me the main relevance of WP is the feedback - of engaging with fellow wordies all over the world. And not only is it enjoyable, it's also useful. So I tend to read what I like and I hope that what I have to offer in my own book is attractive enough for others to want to read. Does not always work that way.
Now, the real challenge on WP - is to find readers! Yes, following people is a good idea and some, like myself, might even come and have a luck. But ultimately you need to be visible. And you only get visible via reads, comments - and little stars. There are quite a few books on WP and @KatherineArlene who I see you also followed has written a really good one.
And once you have readers in your books - you need to keep them there. That's even more challenging.... Hope this helps a bit!

Hey, thanks for adding E&D to your WRIPP Reading list! I see I'm in good company with @Cinilla. 'All Roads' is one of my current favorite reads. I do enjoy Claudius' and Ruffus' antics.

Thank you so much for adding Claudius' wacky story to your reading list 'WRIPP'ers'. I'm honoured you think that highly of the book, and such encouragement is truly motivating. I've had all my energy and focus sapped by a large home project these past 3 weeks, but it's finally over and Claudius is back on the front burner.

@PiperMcDermot You've made my day! To hear you want to keep reading, and are being entertained, is what all of us writers are after. I was hesitant to post here after receiving an awful critique from someone in my live group (when the story was in its infancy), that really made me doubt if I could pull off humour.

I so wish I'd had time to finish the revisions to the start and upload it. Claudius' family dynamics and stakes are clearer and stronger. And the addition of short Hermes POV scenes let me cut most of the blabbing between C & R about what happened during the fight -- instead we live the scene with Hermes. But, I've got to get the last chapters sorted and posted first.

Glad to have you aboard, and please don't hesitate to point out any unclear or boring bits. The wonderful feedback I've received has really spurred the story to a higher level in the revisions.

@Cinilla You're so welcome! The thing is, it's one of those books that once ou start reading, you actually ARE reading and then forget about commenting and all the other stuff that happens on feedback sites. I'll go back and sort that out asap - but I'm really being entertained, and that's what I love :D
