The new Yandere Online book will becoming out this Friday on the 28th August. No take backs this time. No false promises. If I fail to upload the new chapters, assume something terribly tragic has occurred in my day to day life.
As of writing this, I still have 2 and a half chapters left to write. IDEALLY, I want to post all the prologue/pre-main story chapters at once, then continue with weekly uploads following the main story but I can't make any promises. If I meet the deadline, it will be roughly 12 chapters (not including the tutorial, character chapter and trigger warning list) If I don't meet the deadline, I will still post everything I have written so far. I'm sorry for the long hiatus and lack of communication. I have had very low motivation and feel like I've lost my "spark" in writing. I sense it will come back when I start writing the main story again. I'm probably just exhausted from having to write the same long ass chapter all over again (thanks quotev.)
I appreciate all the love and support that has been sent my way. Ever time I felt unmotivated, I would just reread some of the comments people gave me and I would write more.
I'm lowkey terrified of publishing the chapters because I don't think readers will enjoy the slow burn aspect as much, but I keep reminding myself that it's my story. I'm not getting paid to write it. I might as well have fun with it. And if people like, that's awesome. And if they don't, that's okay too!
As a quick side note: I think I might redo my Q&A series as I've had a lot of time to redevelop my characters so there may be a few minor changes (nothing too crazy). I expressed a lot of uncertainty with past questions that I am now more confident with. I also want to give a heads up that the new book will have the exact same cover as the old one (if I can find it that is...) I can't afford to commission art rn. Maybe I'll touch it up a bit? But it will probably be identical lol.
