I'm nineteen, and my username came from the fact that I have a lovely fluffy old cat named Poppy :)
By the way don't ask about the profile pic,  I just adore how evil the cat is :P
 I love reading and I love reading new stories that the awesome people on here come up with :)
I'm generally not too good when it comes to actually writing stories of my own.. I tend to second-guess myself too much which means that I usually end up writing a page or two before discarding the attempt as rubbish. Maybe one day I'll actually start one and if I like it enough I'll put it up.. don't hold your breath though :L
 My hobbies are reading (obviously :P), animals, ice-skating (although in all honesty I probably spend more time with my behind on the ice than actually standing/skating :L), going for long walks, and hanging out with my friends :)
 I like spending time with my family (it sounds lame I know, but since I live a fair distance away from them I don't get to see them that much and it's really nice when we get to see eachother :) ) although my little brother is an Xbox fanatic and I don't really think he notices me whether I'm there or not :L xD
 I'm quite shy in general unless I know people, and if I had a choice in the matter I'd probably stay in during my free time like a hermit and read :P or go out with teh amigos :D I really want a dog but unfortunately where I'm living at the moment isn't suitable for one.
 Call me weird if you like but most of my best friends are boys (girls are odd creatures - well obviously not EVERY girl.. but the ones where I used to live were pretty b*tchy and annoying >.< made some nice friends where I'm living now though :) ) which of course includes the boyfriend, but even he is not allowed to read what little I write until I actually write something that I can look back on and think.. 'hmmmm.. well that one wasn't as bad as the others..' xD
