2098.

Three decades after the Cold war. Humanity is rebuilding it's society with technology at its apex. The war is long gone but in its wake, it's left humans who feel just as much as the Androibots they created.

Eighteen year old Amanda is a burst of emotions. All she wishes for is sunshine and happiness. Against the wishes of her parents, she hopes to share her music with the bleak people of planet earth someday. A pop star. That's the life for her. Getting into Tech-college wouldn't allow that dream become a reality so she runs away from home two days before she is to resume.

A night at a crappy motel and a run in with a mad scientist is all it takes for her to become the target of a society of cyborg soldiers.

Work in progress... What do you guys think? I haven't come up with a title yet tho

It's been soooo long! How's everyone doing? Aaaand... Any book recommend from the 2023 Watty winning books?

I've missed this app and you all so much!!

I'm back, you guys... And I'm definitely completing my most popular book here before starting anything new. How've you all been? Honestly, I love this app. The people and friends we make bonding over our love for fictional characters, or the general concept of writing and bringing the world's in our heads to life.

Thank you everyone who checked up on me... I think I'm good now. Not totally, but definitely better than I was before ❤️ Also, might be changing my username to something else... Depends on what inspiration hits me ❤️

a token of kindness [ 18th july 2023 ]

insecure poems, confident aches; inspired decades yet everyday a death. stretching silences, concrete words; homes that melt and walls that echo. floating feet, rotten flowers; waves that pause in an ocean that seamlessly flows.

fluttering thoughts, fiddling feelings; coloured mouths and disappearing promises. hibernating lights and travelling darknesses; lingering lilacs and luminescent shadows.

minds of pearls, mouths of venom; do not lose by playing to their strengths. corridors of history, weaponsied love; transient nor malleable. fragile loneliness, screaming insecurities;  not every sunset has to be colourful.

sun of rain, thunders of frustration; mornings like amnesia, cloudless burdens. midday pride, repentance heavy; grief stricken victories, blackbird joys. mansions of footsteps, tears of dreams; we are all graves carrying the dying spark of life in us.

Hello Princess,
You must have noticed that you've lost your badge. I had to react to your lack of communication.
You need to know that if you ever decide to join the ambassadors again, I will support your application.
I wish you all the best in your writing adventure.

          Truly yours,

@Garnath oh... Maybe next year we'd both enter...

Garnath

@ PuddnWrites333 No, sadly. Between the ambs and just daily life, I have no story that qualifies.
