The boy's locker room on Instagram is the most disgusting, misogynistic and culture less thing. Although those boys were 'educated', they were not cultured. I cannot believe that boys my age would do something horrific like that.
These boys threatened to rape the girls that didn't send their nudes. And they spread morphed pictures and body shamed girls. The Delhi police have been involved in this case. After being caught, the boys had the audacity to create a new private account in which they advised those who wanted to join, to join the group with fake usernames so they won't get caught. How shameless. They were angry at being exposed rather than accepting their heinous actions.
The entire 'boys will be boys' thing has resulted in toxic masculinity, leading to misogyny and finally promoting rape culture. I am appalled.
I hope that this unfortunate incident serves as a lesson to everybody out there- your actions have consequences. The same people who fight to defend their mothers and sisters, are the same people who used derogatory language about someone else's daughter and sister. They should be punished. If this issue goes without punishment, our future is doomed. If this goes without punishment, these boys and others will continue this behavior. And that is not okay.
