My name is Ralf Griffiths.

I adore human creativity and I chose writing as my own outlet for creativity. Sadly, in the current world climate, life has become quite a challenge for most. To put it simply, I think that escapism helps in creating a space in one's mind to relieve their being from the stresses of our reality. As such I want to write in order to give that sense of escapism to others and, if in the process they gain something from the experience I gave to them, then all the better. 

I love fantastical elements in story telling, even if the writing itself isn't necessarily in the fantasy or high-fantasy genre. What I love most in story telling is not just the deep nuances in character interaction, description and world-building - even though all of this is greatly appreciated - but rather I love spectacle! Not meaning huge explosions everywhere, but rather memorability. I love it when scenes, visual or written, stick out in my mind and I strive to create the same impact on my readers.
