Where do I begin? That's probably the most famous opening line for an autobiography but to be honest, I've been trying to answer that question for a long while now and I figured that I should just be straight with anyone willing to read my bio.

I'm in my twenties, married, no kids yet, pet fish named Guinness, BA in Spanish and International Studies, working to get my teaching license, trying to figure out how to make my student debt magically disappear or at least stop crushing me like an elephant on my chest...

I started writing when I was little. It started with a typewriter and some poetry. The poetry was part of an English Language Arts class but it kept coming out of me and eventually ran into stories and then novels. The problem is that I have a hard time staying on a single story or novel or whatever, so I end up where I am now with two self-published (and in need of some help) novels, a handful of novels that I'm currently working on and plastic tubs full of notebooks with novels yet to be hashed out.

I started NaNoWriMo with a story that I decided to start over from scratch. I really didn't like where things were headed and I know that it needed to seriously slow down. So I have a map of where I want to be but the stuff in the middle will need some work. I then managed to get stuck beyond stuck so I fell behind and a friend suggested this site. I'm looking forward to reading your work and I hope that somebody reads mine...

Who knows, some of you might inspire me along the way. I'm always open to meeting new friends and fresh ideas so don't be a stranger!
