I GOT MY STORY BACK! Got every chapter back and I’ve immediately backed it up. Let’s hope it stays up this time. Gonna upload all of the chapters now.
I’m 1700 words into the new chapter so idk when I’ll be done with it. Thank you all for your patience and support!!! :D

Only issue is it’s stuck on mature so I can’t bring in new readers since it won’t appear on any lists but I’ll just focus on that later. I’ve got a plan around it but it’ll take me a bit :)

Wattpad finally got back in contact with me and… they stated they took I want you down cause of “explicit content” and highlighted “underage” which just doesn’t work since I state that characters depicted in the book are all above 18 and stated this before the book even began and in Australia 18 is adult. In fact 18 is adult worldwide. So I don’t really get that. Let’s see if I can follow up and get my story back. I’m gonna fight tooth and nail for this.

It’s been a month and still no update from Wattpad. This past month I’ve felt kinda lost? Like I want to write but I can’t since I don’t have a book to write. And having 18 chapters ripped from me that I spent the past year writing really hurt my soul. I could rewrite but I know they won’t be nowhere near as good as they were before it was taken down. I could also just upload a new chapter in a “new” book titles I want you but then people who might read it for the first time will miss out and I’ll push away potential readers. I know it’s my fault for not backing up chapters as I was going but I didn’t know Wattpad removed books and did it without warning. Even 1 a day before would’ve been nice but I guess they don’t like that… it’s crazy to me cause I’ve seen books have full fledged indepth s*x scenes and not be taken down but mine was. What a shame :/
Idk what to do really. I’m kinda inbetween rewriting the chapters I lost. And just leaving the story dead and buried. My hobbies like gaming and hanging out with friends are nice but I just think part of me is missing writing especially since I was like 60-70% done with the story and being set back to roughly 40% really sucks. If I do rewrite I’ll upload on Ao3 since if I upload here I’ll risk it being taken down again. If I upload on Ao3 I’ll make another update here.

@RRripe This was unironically my favourite book ever. It started with me wanting to find fanfics about spider woman, and turned into me really loving the characters, and having the writing be really enjoyable. Ive never felt so much love for a fanfic before, and I want you to know that you are highly appreciated. Thank you for reaching out and giving us updates even when you didn't have the motivation/time/energy to write. Thank you for being a great guy Whatever you choose to do with your writing after this, I will read it and I will love it. Also, screw you Wattpad :D

Thank you all for the reads on I Want you. Those 45.6k reads I’ll never forget. That’s a great achievement and I’ll never live it down along with the positions it reached on the rankings for each category. I appreciated every read, every comment and every vote my story got. Averaging as many reads as I did while uploading monthly/bi-monthly means more to me than people think it does. From the bottom of my heart thank you for the reads over the past 3 years of my book.
Again, if I choose to rewrite or make another choice I’ll put an update here but for now. I’m gonna try and get in contact with Wattpad somehow and if I can’t over this next month I’ll have to see where my decisions lie.

Starting to consider just rewriting the chapters and start uploading maybe on ao3 but I just know that my writing will be different and it won’t be as good as it was when I first wrote it . :/

Just discovered wattpad have changed their offline book slots from 25 to 2. What a fantastic app this is

If, God forbid, the appeal gets denied, will you start working on something else or will you just take a break from writing?

I’ll most likely take a break from writing and start to rewrite everything and post it on Ao3 if I have the energy to. But taking a break is more likely due to how crushed I am that it got taken down
