@soldieroferror "but Bucky. Half of my friends and best friend are probably grown up now. They will never accept me " she whispered knowing that her friends would be in their 50's or almost sixties now

            “I know kid, I know,” she whispered out, an arm wrapping around the child. “They just won’t accept us, no one ever will. That’s why we move around so much.” With a sigh, Bucky adjusted her hat and looked around before taking a turn towards their apartment complex. “Maybe one day, when I know people are gone, we can drop this. But that isn’t now.”
