Rachel Beth Ahrens has a Bachelor's in Journalism from Towson University and a huge love for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She has been trying to write her first novel since the age of 14 while showing the first signs of mental illness. She is an activist for the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) where she attends support group every week, and she is a proud supporter of the LGBT community and the Love is Louder campaign, which its goal is to end bullying in schools and colleges, and to also prevent suicide and end stigma of mental illness and substance abuse in the United States. She lives in White Marsh, Maryland with her family and their lively 12 year old longhair miniature dachshund Cinderella, who is a certified genius.

Instant Infinity is her first tragic comedy novel, non science fiction, about her struggle with mental illness, being a victim of sexual assault at age 18, and her younger days in high school and college, before she stopped herself from having suicidal thoughts completely.
For more information on Rachel's love of crochet, triple chocolate fudge cake, shades of pink, puppies, tiaras, Lin-Manuel Miranda's Gmornings (and Gnights), and the writing life, follow her blog on WordPress at rachelbethahrens.wordpress.com/home "The Lady in the Blue Box".
Rachel is a suicide attempt survivor and proud activist for mental illness, suicide prevention, LGBT rights, #MeToo movement against domestic violence against women, and promoting self acceptance. She's regularly online (mostly) on Twitter- @RachelBeth99.
