Helloooo *echo echo echo* - I have finally started back on on writing some Ælla stuff, and even if no-one else gives two hoots, I'm writing this for accountability's sake. So there's been a teeny update, and there will be more. The story kept morphing into different things and I kept changing the overall arc and each change needed a bit more research so there ya go. Reasons and excuses, you decide. I want to do this, still, so I'm trying to make more time for it. x
Literally no idea if anyone is even still there, but hey, there may well be an update to Ælla soon - I KNOW!! Unbelieveable! I've had so little time and focus for doing any writing for ages as I've been doing my other life which consists of drawing and designing and the like, so I've been taking courses and building a business. But GOD I miss writing and I need to do some so it's on its way. WOOP I hear you cry. I write this as if people are waiting with bated breath - fret not, I'm under no illusions that anyone who was ever interested has long since lost patience with my numptiness and found far more worthy stuff to read ha!! Nevertheless, anyone who takes the time to read some of my words, I thank you and lurve you. x
Loving Story of Aella and I'm wondering (very curious ) is it on hold for now since there was no update for some time ?

Yes, it's been a while since I updated her story - I'm just so crazy busy at the moment with studying and trying to get a business started (as a pattern designer) and with singing that I'm really struggling to find the time. I absolutely do want to continue it, so I will revisit, I have ideas of where I want it to all go and I have parts written, I just need to find time to stitch it all together in the right way... I'm so pleased you've enjoyed it - hopefully as we get into the summer months and the studying eases up a little I'll be able to dedicate some real time to it! I'll post out when I get things together, so you'll know when it's done :) x

Yep, I'm in a lean patch. I'd be truly rubbish as a pro, with deadlines and shizz....am currently researching and thinking through the next part of Ælla's tale so updates will come...just not sure when! Thanks as always for reading, voting, commenting - it's all so welcome. x
Hey :) I read your bio and realized I am a lot like you in that I am also afflicted with 'giveitupitis'! I've started paintings in the past without finishing and I've started books and never completed them!
But, recently I have finally completed a couple of paintings! Go me! And now I'm attempting my first novel (14th century dark fantasy) and I'm already up to chapter XXV! It's actually happening!
I'm here to make sure you don't stop writing your story - I like where it's going and how you're painting the picture! I love historical novels and I think you have great potential! With all due respect, there's so much rubbish out here on wattpad (I know I'm being brutally unkind) but it's true.
I'm glad to find writers like you amongst the... *Hmmmmm what's a euphemism for CRAP* amongst all the flotsam out there!
@Aviatrix427 Good on ya! Keep on keeping on....it's just so hard when real life gets in the way. I'll go through a couple of months where I really get into it, then it'll subside for a bit...then up again. Needless to say I'm now in a lull! Aella's story isn't over, far from it...and I know where I want it to go, but wanting to avoid cliche, being predictable and keeping it as authentic as I can means I'm spending a lot of time thinking it through and not actually writing. Will get there eventually :) Thanks for reading and voting, it's really appreciated - and please feel free to comment where you think improvements/edits/tweaks are needed :) xx
There's a new update posted wahoo!! Part IX is now there...and it constitutes the linkage of to a section I've had written for a while, with little idea of how I was going to arrive there. As such, I've no doubt it'll need tweaking and refining to get the flow right, but BY 'ECK it was satisfying when it happened :)
This week has also seen the awesome @LittleCinnamon feature me as her #WattpadAngel hurrah! She's been instrumental in encouraging me to get my writing on here so I have a lot to thank her for, especially keeping the motivation going. Thanks Linz! If you haven't already read her work...WHY NOT??? It's freaken ace.

ERK!! I've just seen some stuff on the interwebs about a new series coming out this year called 'The Last Kingdom', set at the end of the 9th century and starring my Sigurd, Tobias Santelmann, as Ragnar??? Mental. It's got a hell of a cast by the look of it...exciting! :)
