Oh yeah lads, this chapter is also where I'll be practicing how I'll be handling the romantic side... just for information, though, it's not full blown... do tell if I made it too arse

Darktimevoyager

@Rad3eIR very interesting , the was no real sign of romance , what will kick it off?

^Sorry, but I have to specify that the romance is not a very focused topic, just a side plot in the whole thing... and yes, it involves our main character(s)

Happy Armistice Day.
          Lest we forget.

@Rad3eIR May I post my favorite poem from the Great War? It is the poem "In Flanders Fields"

@Rad3eIR Never forget those who wont grow old anymore most notably those who died from the Great War to those in Ukraine and Israel but we should still remember those who died before them, never forget and always be grateful for those who died so we benefit.

@Thelittlecord The infantry technology is more closer to the coldwar, while civilian technology, due to lack of wars, advanced more quicker than weapons. Though in some capacity, some advancement like "Armourers" will be quickly found, but not yet mass produced.

Also, I based that memoir from the Peninsular war during the Napoleonic wars. The memoir is during an attack by British forces in a French held fort of Badajoz. The memoir is found in the book "Voices from the peninsula".
