Ashwin retires from all forms of int'l cricket and this makes me feel so miserable right now.
Could he not have had a better last home series than that historic whitewash vs New Zealand? Could he not have had a better last match than whatever on earth that last match was? Could he not have had a guard of honour on his last test? Why in the middle of this series? No retirement has pissed me off and made me feel as bad as this one.
The batting's been atrocious, the two senior most guys are...I don't even know what they're doing with their swinging wide outside off stump to the third ball of their innings. As if the way we're playing wasn't annoying enough, Ash had to announce his retirement this way. I sound like a selfish ass, probably, but come on man. I wanted to see you get a well deserved farewell at least. You hugging Virat and Rohit in that whole emotional situation was not what I needed this series. Idk.
Going Down Under without Pujji and Jinks was already heartbreaking. I want to watch Pujji's defence on the pitch, not in the goddamn studio where he takes a how to bat in test matches masterclass. Please. And Ash now? While I'd love to see him in the broadcasting scene whenever he wishes, I'd much rather want him to play one last match in this sport, in which he's a legend.
I know this was inevitable. I'm going to scream now tho. I'm going to miss his 2729644 fifers and Player Of The Match and Player Of The Series awards and his ability to scare the shit out of some incredible batters by just keeping them in complete, constant uncertainty, and his beautiful test centuries with Siraj celebrating more than him. Oh god. Couldn't you have just had a farewell match, Ash?

Bhai abhi to news chal rahi hai ki Bumrah may miss champions trophy too. Kya chal raha hai yaar- ab tak shami ka wait Kiya tha, ab shami aaya to Bumrah injured ho gya T-T Ab to lag raha hai ki humari team ka bhagwan hi maalik hai. Okay, Let's move on from all this, I'm still hopeful for the champions trophy cuz abhi tak jo bhi kuch ho raha tha vo tests me ho raha tha, and ab champions trophy ODI hai! I hope ki Rohit, Virat along with others will perform well here, like they did in the world cup, so yeah! But yes, usse pehle to abhi England ke saath T20 and then ODI series bhi hai, so mera focus filhaal isi pe hoga. Not to forget about Shami's comeback after so long!!! I'm damn excited to see him in action again. And about Women's Cricket, maine abhi tak women's cricket nahi dekha hai except the last T20 world cup. I didn't think we played to our potential, but mai dekhti nahi hu so it's better to not comment about that.

@Swarnaprabha987_ agree about the nitish and washi part. Rishabh tho I don't think he's lost ya aisa kuch. He has great defensive abilities. He just chooses to attack. I feel he was rather helpless. Koi top order me except yashasvi support nahi karega toh voh kar hi kya sakta hai. He okays his rash shots as he always has. His confident use of defence is delightful to watch kyonki voh kar sakta hai, he's def capable. Yeh konstas ka bohot zyada ho raha tha. Yashasvi sledging him was too cute T-T "Oye kontasss" XD Lekin Bumrah has been so good this series. Sab kuch usne kiya, batting bowling fielding all of it and he was the saving grace. I hope his injury is resolved soon so we can see him in action. Filhaal I'm done with these oeople. Hope they learn from these mistakes and do better next series. As of now im watching the women in blue and they're a delight because of how they seem to enjoy every game they play so wholeheartedly. Maza aata hai <333

Aaj ke last over ki last bowl pe Khwaja ka kya edge lagwaya hai!! Kya hi bowl thi yaar vo!! And uske baad his cold stare to Konstas, ABSOLUTE CINEMA!! Bumrah itna aggressively celebrate karta nahi hai but jab bhi karta hai, we know he has taken it upon his ego. All i want tomorrow is Bumrah to take the wicket of Konstas and repeat his iconic celebration in front of Konstas. Galat insaan se panga liya hai Konstas ne. Humare bowling bhale hi Bumrah par dependent ho, but vo akela poori opponent team pe bhari hai, chahe opponent team australia hi kyu na ho. And it's so satisfying that I can't express. Absolutely amazing!
