You are right, but missing the part where End believes that either Percy is his wife's reincarnation OR at least connected to someone that has splashed themselves over Percy enough to be deeply connected to him and have an impact on his soul so End could detect it. Also don’t forget End's going mad so his thinking isn’t quite as clear as it could be and all he wants is his wife who is somehow someone from Earth and interconnected with the Commander of his brother and sister who already have their love which he so hates because he doesn’t have his
