Randall Hamilton Whitlock is an American author and poet. He was born in Los Angeles, California in 1985. His work is inspired by his personal experiences and those of others close to him. Though much of his work is in the guise of fiction, most of his writing is taken from real life occurrences.  His writing style is thick with sarcasm and humor, but often with a dark view on the askew side of life. Growing up an outsider with a history of mental illness, he has learned to fight the stigma and find the lighter side of his existence. To him things aren't black and white or shades of grey, but endless colours. He lives with his girlfriend and two daughters in Jacksonville, Florida.
