Thought I'd post this because I've been strangely productive with writing today! I'm in the process of working out the main plotline to Borrowed Courage, and where I want to take the story in the future ^_^ I feel like this is something I never really did with my old stuff (hence why many of them never got a proper ending ^^' but you live and you learn!
It's been a slow process though, so bear with me until I release the next chapter, but for now, have another sneak peek of what's to come :D
~ thank you for your patience ~ (I may or may not be avoiding uni by doing this XD)

“What’re you doing talking to my human?” To Brooke’s surprise (and complete confusion), Kaleb rounded in on Damon, hands on his hips.
Damon rolled his eyes. “Would you grow up, Kaleb? These aren’t the old days.”
Just like every other time she was in Kaleb’s presence, Brooke found herself becoming increasingly irritated. “What the hell are you even talking about?” She interrupted. “I don’t belong to anyone, least of all you.”
To her surprise, it was Damon who answered. “It’s just something borrowers used to say when talking about the humans living in their home. Nowadays, they don’t use that kind of terminology, because coexistence is the motto. Kaleb here just doesn’t have the braincells to comprehend that.” He drawled, winking at her. Despite herself, and her impending confusion, Brooke couldn’t help but blush.
Kaleb, meanwhile, was seething. “What the hell has he said to you, Brooke?” He demanded, focussing on her now.
“Remind me why you care?” Brooke snapped back, still flustered.
“Let’s see. Maybe because this is my brother we’re talking about?”
What.
What.
WHAT?
This time it was Brooke’s turn to be angry. “You’re his brother?” Her face paled a little. “Then that means you’re also a…” She couldn’t bring herself to say the last word, still too shocked to fully process it.

That's all for now, folks! Thanks for your support with the story so far ^_^
