My ability to write this story is based on my personal life, experiences as a martial arts Instructor trained by Bruce Lee Protege Dan Inosanto and my role as a former fight choreographer for Starz/Lionsgate . I was inspired to give this type of writing and film production a shot by my senior martial arts instructor at the academy,Chad Stahelski. Chad is the director of the John Wick series and works with my former boss Carmi Zlotnik at Lionsgate who oversaw shows like Sex and the City, Outlanders, Sopranos etc. and is now in the production of The Continental Series, an extension of John Wick.
It took me a decade after neurocognitive therapy for a Traumatic Brain Injury to get to the point of being able to write a book.
In the beginning my recollections were quite vague, but over time and repetition I was able to develop a coherent theme, which resulted in a completed book. The title for the first book after TBI/CTE was pure luck. Then the next book , The Unfortunate Hitman, followed, and writing it was just pure fun and adventure for me as it came out of a trip to Tokyo, Japan. I can only hope that you enjoy the short stories, action shorts with music that accompany each chapter as much as I enjoy creating them.
