Hey all!
Hope you guys are doing great.
I have something really exciting to talk about. :)

As a journalist, I keep traveling around the city on a bus or the metro. I know how it feels to ride in a jam-packed public transport. While traveling, I either plug my ears with headphones listening to songs or podcast or else, I read a nice book or a magazine. Sometimes, I also type my articles on my phone (which happens whenever I sleep late or when I postpone submitting my article).

Anyways, during my travels, I keep observing people; my co-passengers. I often try to occupy the window seat - in back of the bus - as it gives me a vantage point to see people getting in or to watch the city roll outside. Every passenger is different. Some speak loudly over the phone, some are college students clutching books in hands, some look like people working in IT firms. Almost every person looks like he/she is thinking about the future; maybe praying to God for a better life, for a better job, and especially, praying for a better means of transport. I imagine such things because most people look worried. Their faces are devoid of a smile. If you want stories, just head down the city on a bus and look at the world around you.

One day, I was on my way home or work, I don't remember, but there was this man playing Rummy - a gambling app on his phone. He was so engrossed that I could tell he might miss his destination. The dude was crazy about gambling! He lost over Rs 500 or Rs 1000! I was like, WTF? I felt sorry for him. Why do people trade lives for greed? Why do people fall for 'get rich quick scheme'? Rome was not built in a day. So is wealth. But most become victims of 'greed'. Gambling sucks. I have read plenty of stories of how it ruins a family.

I decided to write a short story about greed; about a man who plays Rummy in his phone, how greed consumes him and how his choice derails the life of another man totally unrelated to him. Greed causes a negative ripple effect to the lives of other people. It took me three months to write this short story (two months for editing and procrastination). It won't take more than 15 minutes to read.

I humbly request you to read and offer your honest feedback and comments. I would be so so happy if you give your reviews on this story's Amazon link and on Wattpad. As a writer, I understand that writing is easy but getting published and making someone read my story is incredibly hard.

But I am an optimist; I hope you love this story, share it with your friends and family, talk about it with everyone.

          	  Here is my short story "Red Passenger" blurb;
"It was a usual day for Raghav; he argued with his wife before leaving to work... settles in front of his computer to write articles... answers phone calls... eats his lunch. But while returning home in a bus - in that wet November night - he sees a man who pulls out a gun and clicks the trigger..."

Hey everyone,

here's my new update for the book, 'Let's Talk About People.'

Johnny Miller is a photographer and the founder of African DRONE and Unequal Scenes.

His photographs are truly thought-provoking. They make you stop for a moment and think about the lives of the people inside the frame. I would say I was lucky when I bumped into Johnny's profile on Instagram one day. The moment I saw his photos, I was struck by its beauty.

Unequal Scenes portrays scenes of inequality around the world from a drone. I immediately reached out to him and asked about his work. It is incredible that Johnny talks about income inequality, about the unbalanced distribution of resource and wealth through his powerful aerial photographs.

          This is his story.

Hey fellas!

I have updated a new story about Abdul Momin. He is a very talented photographer. Some of his photos have come on National Geographic and several international Newspapers.

Read his extraordinary story. Abdul comes from a very poor background. Today, he is a shining example of hard work.

Hey everyone, I just uploaded a chapter for my book, "Let's Talk About People."

This chapter is about a social worker I met two months ago.

He kicks away Child Labour and ropes in children to get into education by inviting them to play football.

It's an incredible story and I am sure, you'll love it.
