M.I. MUSADDAM was born and raised in Potiskum, Yobe state. He's been a graphic designer, a typographer, a folklorist, a poet, a dramatist, a playwright, a novelist, a columnist, a teacher, a journalist, and a English to Hausa translator. He does his best writing at home. Musaddam loves to  transport readers to a place where the bold heroes have endearing flaws, the women are stronger than they look, the land is lush and untamed, and chivalry is alive and well!.
