Beware, Wattpadders. 
          Scammers and book thieves are all over Wattpad, and several unfortunate and chilling phenomenons have been happening. Let's break it down:
          
          1. SCAMMERS: Recently there's been a lot of profiles similar to this description: Wattpad logo as profile picture, 'customer care' as full name (often), and they invade people's message boards and they THREATEN them. How? They say, "If you do not follow the verification in this link you won't be able to post new parts and your book will be limited in search recommendations."
          Freakin' hell. I warn you all, DON'T FALL FOR THIS. They're scammers, and they have heads full of dung in that matter. If you see them, report, block, mute. Don't reply, don't click on the links, they're 100% phishing links. 
          
          2. BOOK THIEVES: This is an older issue, but it's still going on. Book thieves have been targeting Wattpad and pirating books to get money off others' hard work. They're pirating and selling them in:
          - Google Play Books
          - Google Books
          - Inknovl
          - Anna's Archive
          If you find your book in any of these, you can file a DMCA takedown form to take it down in most cases. Stay safe, stay careful, and don't let these morons dishearten you or make profit. We need to show that if they bite, we can bite back.

          It's a SCAM!

          This action was taken because the mandatory identity verification process associated with your profile has not yet been completed, and recent activity on your account has been flagged by our automated security system for review. ....."

Hey, Nightman. I was just thinking about something when I received your notification about the Wattpad scams. I don't know where to go to ask, so I'm just bothering you here. I suddenly gained a quite number of followers overnight, around ten to eleven. That's not the issue—even though we have to consider how quickly I gained so many followers later—but they all had something in common that I couldn't pinpoint. However, while they all have thousands of followers, none of them are writers. I'm not sure; maybe it's just a casual thing.
          Maybe something simple happened, but it's new to me. Alternatively, there may be cause for concern. I can show you the screenshot if possible... Oh, yes, you can see it for yourself on my profile, right? Tell me what you think about it, Nightman. :((

          Wattpad is becoming the home of scammers, thieves and such morons. First they stole books. That didn't stop yet. There's a site called Inknovl, you might find your books pirated in that site. And Anna's Archive too, I've heard. 
          And there are all sorts of swindlers and scammers whipping up links in YOUR MESSAGE BOARDS, often using the Wattpad logo as their profile picture. They might ask you for your credit card number, say they're published authors or such shit, tell you to follow VERIFICATION STEPS or else you'll be kicked out of the platform. WARNING: these are lies. If Wattpad needed you to verify anything, they'd email or DM you. 
          I just wanted to celebrate, y'know. But all this is upsetting. I might do a bigger warning post soon. Stay tuned and stay careful, my friends.
