@RedPetal49 Meep o.O. Eeeeehh!! This is exciting. I’m dropping by to say I cannot wait (!) to read your next book, RedPetal. I am on board with full chapters at ~3000 words. For one I do that myself, but mostly bc that’s how many words it usually takes to put together a compelling scene/ chapter arc, imho. And to echo Ivy, sending you lots love ❤️. @missivylynn Actually, I'm planning a different publication scheme this time... you can be the first to hear of my evil plan. ❤️ (Well we'll tag @ProlixRemedy too...) I like long story parts. I initially was publishing quite long ones at the beginning of AoT, like 3000-4000 words, but due to requests from two dear readers, I shortened them, such that most AoT story parts ended up being about 2000 words, although with variations. With my new story though, I'm going rogue and sticking with my own preference for longer story parts, of about 3000-3500 words on average. So my plan is to post those one at a time, probably twice during the week, like Tuesday and Friday. So a somewhat comparable weekly word count perhaps, but divided up differently. Most story parts will also be divided up into scenes with asterisks in between, so ppl can also read them as smaller chunks if so desired. But I really like telling the whole little story I want to tell in each story part and not worrying so much about word count. So... strap in. ;P
