Reed Buck is a twenty-one year old student at UCLA studying neuroscience. He loves punk rock, Christopher Nolan movies and his girlfriend Lindsay (who does all the wonderful artwork in his books). If he were to describe himself in the third person in an author bio, Reed would probably resort to some sort of lame metaphysical joke in which he would write in expanding layers of self-awareness.  He might later consider deleting the aforementioned joke, but eventually his snark would win out over his desire to appear noteworthy and respectable.  He has been reading and writing fantasy and science fiction since he was eleven years old, and has been overawed by the masters (Asimov, Card, Tolkien and Lewis) as well as the contemporary wordsmiths (Rothfuss, Sanderson, Martin, and Lynch).  More than anything, Reed is a people person, and considers himself blessed to have made so many friends willing to deal with his awkward, terrible sense of humor.
