Hello to all, it's been a busy day! I finished my Round 1 entry for the Romance smackdown, which is a change of genre for me (here goes nothing...). Cleverly, I managed to post part 2 of the story before part 1, but if you're going to read it, things will make a lot more sense if you read part 1 first. Will try to avoid doing the publishing switcharoo in the future. :-) Also, I posted the next chapter of the Gingerbread Manifesto, which is a lighthearted story I wrote for the 3-Day Novel contest way back when. Hello friends and followers! The Super Science Fiction Smackdown 2 (yes, it's a mouthful!) is off and running with Season 2 after a ~4-month hiatus. So, for those of you itching for the next chapter of Misericordia, which is tied to SSFSD2, the wait is over! The three parts of Chapter 11 are now posted for your reading pleasure. Hey everyone! I've been kind of quiet lately (well not really, but quiet here on Wattpad anyway...) I'm in back to school mode so time is awfully limited. However, I am sad that the Super Sci Fi Smackdown is in hiatus until early 2015 when season 2 starts. So until then, Misericordia may only get an update or two. In the meantime, I've started streaming another story of mine, The Gingerbread Manifesto. It's actually the three-day novel I wrote in 2008 (was it really that long ago??) Since I don't have time to write a lot of new stuff right now unless it's term papers, I thought this might be fun to post. It's generally lighthearted and it's this story that inspired one of my most useful writing mottos: "When all else fails, add a ghost!" I hope you'll enjoy the story if you decide to check it out, and as always, feel free to comment or vote! :-)
