Finally a bit of good news for me after an horrific four weeks.
I did indeed win my third Amby's Award in consecutive years
Gettysburg Address © not only won in Poetry but unexpectedly took out the Grand Favourite prize in Historical Fiction as well. Maybe you should take a look. Maybe I'm a better writer than I thought.

Sadly my wife passed on Sunday 18th January after a life impacted by MS for 52 years the last 25 in an electric wheelchair. She was the strongest person I've ever known and loved. She was a record breaker even in adversity. The family and friends held a celebration of her amazing life which you are welcome to view. Shine on Darling in Heaven as you did here on Earth. We miss you. ❤️

@RobertLHarpur Don't know why I never got your notices until now, Rob, and I am truly saddened to hear of your loss. I know only too well huge shift in one's personal reality that event can cause. Also the news of your successes came late, and I missed sending the deserved congratulations. I had my own upheaval with a move after 20 years and it took a long time to achieve. Still getting settled. Occupied my free time with the ONC2026 challenge - it is the right place for me. One day I will get back to your book. I think I've read different parts a few times, never consecutively. Anyway, please accept my belated condolences and wish for your peace of mind and well being. Joe

@RobertLHarpur I am sorry to hear about the health business. I know first hand that can be draining. I'm still upright and suckin' air so there's that. I have to move after renting for 33 years, and I was fortunate enough to get another spot in the same building - still, at my age it's a chore. You collect so much stuff that hides in closets and under beds and chairs - stuff you just can't seem to chuck. So I may be quiet in the next little while while I get set up again. Something I wanted to tell you when we first met here, something that I never told anyone. I didn't think you would believe me, but my name is actually Ronald W. Harper. Truth.

@lyttlejoe I'm Robert Louis James Harpur. I was adopted within the family and found out when I was 42 that my "cousin" was really my birth mother. You might have picked up the theme in my first book HereAfter Dark? Anyway stay tuned for my autobiography coming soon ? Haha when. I finish Book 3 of my Trilogy. Glad to see you writing as prolifically as ever my friend. ❤️

@lyttlejoe Thanks Joe . Yeah. Margot has had a lot of health issues . I've become obsessed with playing chess on line which I haven't played much for 50 years . Also busy turning The Facilitator into a novel. How about you?
