@RobertLHarpur I am sorry to hear about the health business. I know first hand that can be draining. I'm still upright and suckin' air so there's that. I have to move after renting for 33 years, and I was fortunate enough to get another spot in the same building - still, at my age it's a chore. You collect so much stuff that hides in closets and under beds and chairs - stuff you just can't seem to chuck. So I may be quiet in the next little while while I get set up again. Something I wanted to tell you when we first met here, something that I never told anyone. I didn't think you would believe me, but my name is actually Ronald W. Harper. Truth.
@lyttlejoe I'm Robert Louis James Harpur. I was adopted within the family and found out when I was 42 that my "cousin" was really my birth mother. You might have picked up the theme in my first book HereAfter Dark? Anyway stay tuned for my autobiography coming soon ? Haha when. I finish Book 3 of my Trilogy. Glad to see you writing as prolifically as ever my friend. ❤️

@lyttlejoe Thanks Joe . Yeah. Margot has had a lot of health issues . I've become obsessed with playing chess on line which I haven't played much for 50 years . Also busy turning The Facilitator into a novel. How about you?

@LaurenStanford_N Thanks Lauren btw our daughter is also a Lauren. Maybe you could read The Facilitator as I finish it hopefully in time to enter this year's Amby's Awards. I have to finish it by 31 August but at least I have an extra day in Australia haha. I would value your feedback and opinions.

Hi, I just came across your work and I must say - your writing style really draws the reader in. I'm always curious about how authors bring their stories to life - what inspired you to start this journey?

@LaurenStanford_N Hi Lauren, thank you for your kind comments. As a "retired" Catholic and a past head altar boy, obviously many many years ago in Sydney, I wasn't abused at all myself. Luckily Father Patrick liked beer more than young boys I guess. I decided to write a story trying to explain why those in power in the Church might want to protect abusing priests by moving them rather than handing them over to the police. I hope you enjoy my books. I'm a bit stuck at the moment with the final third installment HereAfter Dusk perhaps I'm a bit reluctant to finally finish this 10 year project. Haha .
