Finally a bit of good news for me after an horrific four weeks.
I did indeed win my third Amby's Award in consecutive years
Gettysburg Address © not only won in Poetry but unexpectedly took out the Grand Favourite prize in Historical Fiction as well. Maybe you should take a look. Maybe I'm a better writer than I thought.

Sadly my wife passed on Sunday 18th January after a life impacted by MS for 52 years the last 25 in an electric wheelchair. She was the strongest person I've ever known and loved. She was a record breaker even in adversity. The family and friends held a celebration of her amazing life which you are welcome to view. Shine on Darling in Heaven as you did here on Earth. We miss you. ❤️

@RobertLHarpur I am sorry to hear about the health business. I know first hand that can be draining. I'm still upright and suckin' air so there's that. I have to move after renting for 33 years, and I was fortunate enough to get another spot in the same building - still, at my age it's a chore. You collect so much stuff that hides in closets and under beds and chairs - stuff you just can't seem to chuck. So I may be quiet in the next little while while I get set up again. Something I wanted to tell you when we first met here, something that I never told anyone. I didn't think you would believe me, but my name is actually Ronald W. Harper. Truth.

@lyttlejoe I'm Robert Louis James Harpur. I was adopted within the family and found out when I was 42 that my "cousin" was really my birth mother.
