Have you ever considered a protogen story?
After more than a year of not working on my furry fiction, I've started work on a new story, The Magic Dog House, and released the first chapter!
This will hopefully be a smaller story, in contrast to dog boy, and I envision it as sort of the kind of story written in the 90s you might rediscover as a worn paperback in a classroom bookshelf. These were the kinds of books that led to me eventually finding the furry community, and I hope you enjoy it!
So is there any chance that there may be possibly a sequel to dog boy or maybe like a spin-off series?
Your stories are really good especially"You are still human inside" it's really original as far as I know.

@YulSterni a lot of things. Mainly I was annoyed at how few tf stories showed the fallout of the tf - how the character's life changes and such. I also wanted the world to be a bit "messier" - So many stories have something like "and then he turned into a dog and now he was in a parallel universe where his family thought he was a dog." I find that very boring, and thought it'd be much more interesting to have a story where the world actually had to react to a bunch of people transforming into anthro animals.
Are you planning on creating any other stories that take place in the Dog Boy universe. Like any Canis stories that are unrelated to Matt and Jackie?
@Night_Fyre it... All depends. I only have so much time in life, and I'm prone to working on way too many creative projects - I have my main writing projects, these writing projects here, a bunch of different art things I'm doing, running a sub reddit, practicing my guitar, learning to DM D&D, then all the things I do just for fun...and of course, actual important stuff like school, work, and other life stuff. Basically, I realized that if I ever want to accomplish things like finishing the main story I'm working on and such, I need to manage my priorities. I would love to write a bunch of new furry stories, but I just don't have the time. I also have had difficulties hashing out the plot. I wish I could publicly share my big writing projects online, but as I want to publish my novels traditionally someday, putting them online publicly would void "first publishing rights" - basically I couldn't sell those books. So sorry, probably not any new furry stories any time soon. Idk, maybe I'll need a break from stuff and suddenly write a new one really quickly - but don't expect anything. If you are interested though maybe in reading a high fantasy novel about merfolk, let me know and I can give you acess to my big writing project.

could you write more chapters on dog boy
Hey y'all, hope you're all having a good year. Been working hard at finishing Dog boy, and all my chapters are complete and ready to upload. with the way things have been going, it looks like the final chapter of Dog Boy will be uploaded on January 31st.
I've been updating pretty steadily ever Tuesday and Saturday, though I wonder as we approach the final chapters, if you would prefer that I upload them in more rapid succession. Thus, some options laid out to you. Chapter 50 releases on Saturday as planned. After that, on Tuesday, I'll release Chapter 51. Do you want me to release the last two chapters -
-On the same day in a massive drop at once?
-Release 51 on Tuesday morning, 52 that evening, and then the final chapter the next day?
-Release 51 Tuesday, 52 Wednesday, and 53 Thursday
-or last of all, stick to the present schedule, with 52 coming out on the following Saturday, and 53 coming out January 31st.
I ask you this as we approach the end, because in the past I've had some people say "wow great story I liked it so much" - when it wasn't actually the last chapter xD. (For future reference, the story is not over until you see the words "the end").
I imagine given that the story wraps up in these last chapter, forcing you all to wait would not be the kindest - but at the same time, I want to respect your time, and not intrude on y'all's lives when you may not have the time to read so much at once.
Nevertheless, let me know. I love hearing from my readers, rather than just having a bunch of silent viewers.
