I originally joined Wattpad just to read, but last year I decided to try writing my own story and entered it into the Wattys.

I wrote my first 107,000-word novel, The War: The Fight for Humanity, entirely on my phone. It was entered in the 2025 Wattys, still editing, so thank you for sticking with me.

As a Navy brat raised in Hawaii, I grew up surrounded by military life. It shaped my family and helped shape me. Years later, my own service, especially what I went through in basic training, became the inspiration for "The War."

Writing helps me learn more about myself. It's given me a way to express emotions and ideas, and I'm grateful to Wattpad for giving me a place to explore my imagination freely.

Somewhere in the process, I completely fell in love with my characters. They feel like my children. I genuinely believe that if a writer doesn't fully commit to their story, it's hard for anyone else to.
