It has been a long time and I know I haven't posted anything new. I've been working a lot, plus I've got a family to take care of, but I haven't been totally idle! For the past several years I've been competing in the Seattle Crypticon writing contest and winning!! Most notably a couple years ago I took first place. My stories were published by Blysster Press in their Crypticon Anthologies. One of the most exciting things about taking first place was that the prize included a $500 editing package and a contract to publish a full length novel. Flash forward to now and Fisherman's Niece has come a long way from the version you can read here online and I've even started on a sequel, but for right now I'm focusing on the final edits before I can send it off to my publisher! I'll make sure to keep anyone who is interested up to date on the progress. I may even publish some of my Crypticon stories here, I just have to check on my rights to do so. Thank you all for your continued support of my story, the votes and comments mean the world to me!
