Hello everyone,
          
          Unfortunately I have some personal matters at hand I am needing to put my full attention to. I am not sure if or when I will be able to update ‘Lanterns at Dusk’, and I realize this may come as a disappointment to most of you. I will keep you all updated as soon as I know when I can continue writing again, but please do not worry! This all should be temporary and within a couple weeks at most, I should be prepared to return to my writing.
          
          I really appreciate your understanding and patience with me during this time. I feel disappointed to be doing this to my readers but I need to put my mental health and family first during this time. Please be sure to add ‘Lanterns at Dusk’ to your reading list if you haven’t already — so when the next chapter comes you will be the first to know!

          Hope everyone is staying healthy! In my city, the flu has hit hard where schools are closing down left and right. The hospital is starting to fill up with this sickness, it’s almost reminding me of 2020! It’s so crazy. :(
          
          New story update coming tomorrow! Thank you all for the continued support. I am now officially back to my normal work schedule, so I may not be able to update until I get home from my shift. Thanks for your patience. :) 
          
          Also the TikTok for ‘Lanterns at Dusk’ has hit over 60k views on some videos! Absolutely incredible!

          I am truly grateful to each and every one of you for your support and for taking the time to read Lanterns at Dusk.
          
          I first published Lanterns at Dusk toward the end of August 2025, and my goal is to complete the story and enter the editing phase by the end of March. Your continued encouragement has meant more to me than I can express.
          
          I have many exciting plans in store once this story is complete, and I sincerely hope you will continue this journey with me—through the conclusion of Lanterns at Dusk and into the new works currently taking shape in my notes.

And would you look at that! Chapter 41 has been published. Finally a two chapter update :)  Please enjoy for these chapters are starting to get longer. 3000+ words — not bad  
          
          
          I have been off of work for three weeks now since my work related injury. I am hopeful to return to my full time job by Wednesday - though it has been difficult I have found some positivity in the situation — for I have been able to write much more of my story but also make music — a hobby of mine I am hopeful will become something in the future.
