After spending ten years on Wattpad, both as a reader and a writer, I have come to accept that you cannot please every reader. And that's okay.

The only thing you can do is to respect their love and loyalty towards your work while also respecting your hard work. Every reader has a different thought process and you risk losing yourself as a writer if you wish to satisfy every single reader. That's impossible tbh.

I have never been the kind of author who keeps vote or comment targets, I never felt comfortable coercing readers in the name of no update if they fail to complete the said target. That was never my intent to write. I have always preferred slow, organic growth.

2 million reads on Love Unrushed! can sound fancy to new readers/writers. But ask me, who has given five years to this book without any targets, being happy and content with all your comments and trusting my work and understanding varied reader preferences.

Though, at times I do feel bad when a few readers find the time to write something negative about my work either in the comment section or anywhere else but not a single vote on any chapter. It makes me wonder how criticism often comes more easier than support/understanding.

Not every story resonate with everyone, and I fully accept that. My readers are free to read, skip, or walk away if something doesn’t align with their preferences. I have always regarded your reading choices.

But, it wasn't an unfair decision when I kept only the mature content and epilogues on stck (which were earlier free). This is the least I can do to support my hard work by equally respecting your attachment to Love Unrushed!

Neither did I shift the whole book on a paid platform, nor I played the late update/wattpad unpublishing my story/half-story here half-story there game to gather readers on stck. It was a simple decision to keep only that content on Scrollstack which will not significantly affect those who cannot afford the paid updates.

I hope all good with you. It's not easy to go through haters, Love Unrushed will always remain a beautiful piece of heart to all it's readers, if haters actually don't know constructive criticism then that's they're fault. The story is beautiful in it's way, not everyone can understand art right
