            ONC is the annual Open Novella Contest. It's a challenge you pick from an initial prompt, and then you have to write so many words within a few timelines until the end with at least 20K words (+ o r - a couple).
            It is big, with a lot of entrants - but fun.

            I don't know what ONC is, but I do know creativity comes in waves (don't ask me how I know :-[ )
