@Itsamy12345 oh okay!  Just so you know,  if you've ever watched Nevver ending story,  through the wood is very much like that. Mostly vivid imagination come to life, zero magic. It's also a blend of the fairy-tales little red riding hood and Alice in wonderland. Wanted you to know.  Anyways,  thanks for reaching out!

Hey Violet it's Amy here I don't know if you remember me but I'm a hige fan of Beyond The Green and wanted to make a book inspired off of it. I rewrote it twice and both times didn't really stand out to me and felt like I was copying your book to much and then randomly somewhere in December last year I was offline and couldn't continue from where I wrote off and started a new chapter 1 to see if this one sounds better and now I've got a completely new plot line with a kind of similar idea from your book and a few others that I've read but completely different at the same time. So I just wanted you to know this might be the final version if I do it right. 
          
          
          And I hope you make another book that's kind of like Beyond The Green cuz I just really love it for some reason I reread it the other day for the 4th time since I found it almost 2 years ago and it's always just as good.

Websites vary drastically by what you're looking for,  and what time period you're interested in. Search for life in the American west during whatever year you want. MULTIPLE sources will pop up. I did use maps too, quite a lot!  I googled US maps during whatever year I wanted, then did the same by region. Very helpful.

@SEViolet  and If you don't mind I have two more questions one what was the best let's say website for instance where you found the best information and two did you use maps to figure the towns and stuff out because I can't find one and Google ain't helping T-T

Hi Violet, will you ever make a book that's almost like beyond the green. Because I can't find a book as good as that one. And if you have books that is like that but not yours can you please tell me the names cuz I can't find anymore good western books :)

@Itsamy12345 probably not one like it since that story has already been told, but I have others if you haven't read them already. Although he's not a strict western writer, @lyttlejoe has a few you should not miss!
