Red blaze and Blue fire have wrecked me in a way no previous books have. I have sobbed, been pissed, intrigued, nervous, happy, sad and sooooo many other emotions along the way. I finished reading them in less than 2 days, barely slept and didn’t want to put these books down because I needed to know what was going to happen next. I have never had a series I was so obsessed with needing answers from. I like to think I’m pretty good at figuring out how a writer wants their books to go and I typically know how a book will end before I’m halfway through it. These books kept me wondering what was gonna happen next the whole time, as soon as I thought I figured it out there was another twist or turn, a zig or zag I never saw coming. I’m not gonna lie, I’m furious with how they ended. Who doesn’t want the happy ending for their favorite characters? But the fact that I couldn’t and didn’t WANT to put them down for even a second to do anything is what I found truly remarkable. This was the first series to ever captivate me like that. I felt the emotions of the characters as if they were my own. These books have wholeheartedly mind f*cked me in the best way possible and I can not wait to continue reading them once the next book is up. I think these are some of the first books from this app that I would gladly pay money for just so I knew I could read them over and over again without the chance of them not existing anymore. These were also the first books I’ve ever commented on or written a post about so to say they are my new favorite is a major understatement.
