I LOVE THE THEME THO

If you are into zombies, cute dogs, and tragedy, I highly recommend reading Error 31 by @AuggieGreen27, it's a very short read, very fast paced, and I'm not one into #postapocalyptic type stories, but this one kept me on edge and I couldn't put it down!           Before I get started on Book 2, I think I’m gonna spend the day reading some of y’all’s works! I’m a little overdue lol

The conversation I almost used for Jeremy and Blake in If You Had Stayed:
          
          [Incoming call]
          
          Jeremy: "...What do you want?"
          
          Blake: "Wow. Rude. Is this how you greet all of Lani’s best friends, or just the incredibly talented, devastatingly gorgeous ones?"
          
          Jeremy: "Blake—"
          
          Blake: "No, no, let’s cut to the chase, sweet cheeks. I’ve got about five minutes before I have to go rescue a diva from a wardrobe malfunction, so let’s get into it."
          
          Jeremy: "...I don’t have time for this."
          
          Blake: "Make time, grumpy. Because you and I? We need to have a little chat about my best friend."
          
          Jeremy: "...Lani."
          
          Blake: "Bingo. The woman who has been crying over your dumb ass for six years. The woman who has listened to your voicemails more times than she’ll ever admit. The woman who, might I add, has called me at two in the morning, drunk off her ass, sobbing about how she should have stayed."
          
          Jeremy: "...She did that?"
          
          Blake: "Oh, sweetheart. You have no idea the level of emotional breakdowns I have witnessed. And you? You had the nerve to act like she just moved on?!"
          
          Jeremy: "...She never said anything."
          
          Blake: "Oh, I’m sorry, did you expect her to?! After what happened? After how everything fell apart? Do you realize how many times she wanted to come back? How many times I almost shoved her onto a plane myself? But no, she had too much pride. Too much fear. And now, you finally have her back in front of you, and you’re hesitating?!"
          
          Jeremy: "It’s not that simple, Blake."
          
          Blake: "Oh, honey, it is that simple. You love her. She loves you. And if you screw this up again, I will find a way to haunt you for the rest of your days. Do you understand me, Jeremy Briggs?"
          
          Jeremy: "...Yeah. I understand."
          
          Blake: "Good. Now go get her, you idiot."
          
          Blake is literally the bestie we all need, and I stayed up until 6am to finally finish this book so go check it out!
