I MEAN…IF YOU LOOK AT OTHER AMERICAN ARTISTS, THEIR VOCALS ARE MORE DEVELOPED AND SKILLED WHILE MOST K-POP IDOLS VOCALS ARE WEAKLY DEVELOPED. REMIND LE SSERAFIM THAT THIS ISN’T SOUTH KOREA WHERE THEIR FANS WILL CHEER FOR THEM even if they sing bad.
America’s vocal standards are way higher than K-pop’s standard. They don’t care how pretty you look or how good you can dance. They usually expect LIVE VOCALS.
But if you’ve looked at LE SSERAFIM’S encore stages, American audiences would get absolutely pissed. In some or most of their encores they like to play with each other or fiddle with their earpiece when they sound not that good.
It’s honestly HYBE’s fault for giving them songs that don’t fit their range like it did with perfect night. They have all that money but can’t give LE SSERAFIM the song that fits their vocal range and give them dances they can dance but also stay stable while singing.
Sure, America has beauty standards but like…I’m pretty sure most of Americans don’t care except for some. They care about how good your talents are as a performer/singer/etc there. Because Coachella is a BIG event and Le Sserafim cannot do the same thing in Korea, putting loud backtrack, dancing, and lipsync.
GOSH I feel like a k-netizen now LMAO
But look at BLACKPINK for example, YGE gives them songs but dances that they can do while singing and they were singing live at Coachella, yes they still had backing track but they sounded at least decent.
