Hello everyone! I learned today that someone from WP stole LUNAR ECLIPSE and published it on Amazon under a different title and a different name. The person didn't bother to change anything, including the images at the end of each chapter that ask for comments and votes. Such a blatant copyright infringement is quite cheeky (and stupid), and I'm sure that Amazon will remove the book soon, so if you are the infringer and are reading this, be prepared to have your Amazon account closed permanently.
However, in light of this, I do no longer feel safe to post anything on WP that I intend to publish commercially in the future. This means that Lunar Eclipse will come down as soon as the copyright claim is resolved, and that I will not publish part II as I originally intended. I will also unpublish BETWEEN and will no longer publish any new stories. It is very unfortunate that I have to take this step because I loved sharing my work with you on WP. Your reads, comments, and votes carried me through the turmoils of my writer's journey and I will always be grateful for this.
For now, my early stories will remain on WP and I will continue to post on Inkitt (the link is available on my profile) while I evaluate if I want to risk of having anything else stolen. For those of you who are avid fans of my work, watch out for announcements about new releases on Amazon because I will always give away free copies to WP readers who have proven supporters of my work.

@sallymason1 seriously, what’s wrong with people? This is why we can’t have nice things. I came here looking for your onc stories because I’m finally catching up on reading but I suppose this means you won’t publish them here? I’m glad you got the situation sorted out with Amazon but it’s still a very sad business for all of us :(((((((

@lyttlejoe , @Multilingually , @Nablai , @WendyyWolfe , @Meeko0903 , @Tefaye_girl Thanks for your kind comments and support. Amazon took the book down, but it was still a hassle. I'm just sad that WP doesn't put safeguards in place to avoid downright downloads, which will deter authors to publish on this platform.

@elveloy They downloaded the book straight from WP, images and all, without any typing on their part. I thought WP actually resolved this security glitch by blocking downloads, but this has obviously been proven wrong. I no longer feel safe keeping anything of value on here.
