@Emmer-the-dunno okay, hear me out:
A ShinKamiDeku book called "Thunder and Lightning"
Izuku, when he was four, got a quirk. He could create and control flames. When he and Katsuki were playing, an explosion hit him in the face, causing him to go blind. He was also deaf for a month, but due to surgery he fully regained his hearing.
When he was fifteen, he, quite literally, burned his way through the physical exam. When he first arrived, he was quick to make many friends. During the quirk assessment, he set the ball on fire and shot it into space, gaining him the same score as Ochaco. In the end, Mineta came in last, and was expelled. He was then replaced by Shinsou.
Life goes on, until a thunder storm rolls around. At the first boom, Izuku starts shaking. As the storm goes on, he proceeds to have a full blown panic attack. Shinsou is able to snap him out of it, and after class, him and Aizawa learn the truth behind his blindness. They didn't notice how Denki had started dissociating, however.
Basically, Shinsou has to care for his Sunshine problem children because Denki and Midoriya both have bad memories of Thunder :)
